ClassyCurves x Confidence
So ladies, today is the day – I am starting a new series on my blog – ClassyCurves x Confidence – where I will talk about Confidence and give tricks and tipps that helped me. I will talk about Confidence in general but also Bodyconfidence and Bodypositivity. I am very excited to start this new project.
So let’s start – What is Confidence?
To me Confidence is to know who you are, what you want and to belive in youself. To love yourself no matter what. To accept and know your flaws and outshine them with your strenghs. Confidence gives you that special glow. We all know these people that we see in the street and think „wow“. I believe that confident people have doubts too but they never let their doubts or fears stop them. And I belive that every human can learn how to be confident. Confident thinking and behaviour can be praticed and, in time it can become a habit. Confidence is like a muscle, it grows with use and Confidence comes from feeling good about yourself and beliving in your abilities.
In the next couple weeks and months we will pratice and learnhow to be more confident and to belive more in us! Let’s do this together.
Here are a couple short tipps to start with:
1. Stop comparing and stay focused on YOU!
2. Relax. Go with the flow and don`t stress the little things. (hardest one for me)
3. LOVE YOURSELF! YOU ARE A GIFT! Nothing will be the same if you did not exist!
4. Be positive and look for the good in every situation.
5. Do what you love. Life is too short to waste your time doing anything otherwise

Power of your Mind – How Thoughts affect the way you feel about yourself
The way you think and your thoughts affect the way you feel and behave. Thinking bad or negative about yourself can lead to low self-confidence and self-worth. Here are some tipps how you can take back control by challenging your thoughts and working towards a more positive self-image.
Sometimes it can be really hard to see what the end result will be. Thinking about „What ifs“ Situations can put you down and make it way harder. So babe get comfti in your favourite chair, close your eyes and focus on your breath. Now start to build a picture in your head of a more confident you. How would you act? Talk? What would you wear? Enjoy the feeling of confidence. So during your journey to a strong confidence take this picture with you and see it as something to aspire to.

4. Spring-clean your belief system. WHAT YOU BELIEVE IS WHAT YOU BECOME!
5. Ask yourself why
We often get caught in the thought “ I am not good enough“. It can make you worry and go crazy about many aspects in your life. Now ask yourself why you think you are not good enough. Can you find five good (and realistic) reasons why you are not good enough? You can’t. „Because I know it is true“ does not count. The past also does not count. So change your self-perception!
6. Would you say it to a friend?
Sometimes we can be really hard on ourselves. Especially when our self-esteem is low. Think about someone you love and respect – would you tell this person what you are telling yourself? Your answer will be no. Why would you treat someone this way – but wait, girl you already do: yourself. The lesson here is to treat yourself like your bff. Be kind to yourself.
I belive in Mantras. I first heard about them at my Yoga Course. A mantra is a positive phrase that you repeat to yourself, confirming your positive thoughts with affirmations like „I am“ or „I will“. Regularly repeating your mantra will help you reaffirm your faith in yourself and your abilities.

8. No need to compare
In seeing others as somehow better than youself you are moving your focus away from yourself and your own positives. In trying to be like someone else you stop yourself from being the best version of you. Instead think about what you would like to improve in your life and work on those areas without comparing with others. „A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it – it just blooms“.
